1950s Hershelle Navy Dress

Lovely navy dress with original tags !...........

Fantastic Hershelle model day dress. The original shop tag is still attached to the sleeve, and the dress never been worn. The label specifies the style number and charmingly the name of the fabric, J M Royal Harmony, which is a lovely light navy wool.

The dress is very elegant and has elements of 1940s styling. It has been interestingly cut with maygar sleeves that have been cut in a gentle curve. The dress has an inverted v shaped empire line waist with gathers up to the bust. The bodice features large darts  A lovely navy bow has been placed centrally. From the waist the skirt flares beautifully.

The dress is unlined and all seams are finished to a very high standard.There is a zip opening to the back.

In immaculate condition.
